Mu Feng was seething. He cannot believe that an outsider would chase him out of the hospital.
"Big Brother, thank you for dropping by straight from the airport. Please go home and rest first. I will be out tomorrow." Mu Lan said gently.
Mu Feng's anger dissipated. He smiled and said. "I will go then. Take care of yourself and sleep early." Mu Feng stood and headed for the door. He still closed the door gently despite the urge to slam it.
The nanny did not return during the night. Mu Lan slept right after Mu Feng left. The bodyguard turned off the main light and just left the light near the headboard open. When Mu Lan's breathing became even, the bodyguard stretched out his hand to gently caress her cheek.
