A faint groan escaped from Noah when he put a spoonful of porridge in his mouth. His swollen and bruised lower jaws ached terribly the moment he tried to grind the food, giving him a quick realization of his pathetic state.
He had already changed into the new set of servant clothes that Mina had delivered to him and was about to consume the meal after a long day. Even though his stomach growled hard from being starving for the past two days, he couldn't muster the strength to take another spoonful of food.
