"A deal?"
Xanthus skeptically raised his right eyebrow while tossing an intense glare at Noah. His tone sounded a bit hefty and from his appearance, he seemed clearly dubious about his intention.
To avoid catching his suspicion, Noah immediately flipped his hands and tried to assure him with a beamed smile, "It's just a simple deal, y-you don't need to get skeptical about it, My Lord!"
"What is it about?" Crossing his arms, Xanthus sounded very dense.
Noah cleared his throat with a small cough before he answered, "Now that you have picked me here as your personal servant and shown me your supernatural ability, then I guess I have found out one of your secrets.
"Similarly, you also do know my secret that I was sent here as an assassin but unfortunately, I have lost all my memory and I am not the person anymore who I used to be. As both of us know each other's secret, then why don't we try to build a bond of trust between us?"
