"Are you done crying?"
After bawling his eyes out, when Noah calmed down a little, Xanthus's curt voice flinched him a bit. Seated opposite him on the couch at the other side of the table, when he darted a nervous glance, he found Xanthus was already staring at him all this while with a cold face.
Gulping nervously, Noah wiped his tear-soaked cheeks before nodding like a puppet, as he spoke, "Y-Yes and I am sorry…My Lord! I…I didn't mean to cry like that and cause a scene… I-it's just that it's been a very long time since I had tasted such an exquisite meal…so, my emotions somehow erupted awkwardly… P-Please…forgive me…"
Quietly listening to his mumble while resting his chin over his palm, Xanthus exhaled a heavy sigh before he responded, "You know…It was the first time I saw someone bawling his eyes out over food! It somehow left me puzzled because I didn't know what to do."
