Even though Illay acted like a gentleman, his mind unknowingly pondered, 'Xanthus has already touched me plenty of times until now. But what's this unusual feeling I am getting just from another guy's touch? To think of it…I didn't feel this uneasiness around Xanthus…why?'
Watching him freeze with a contemplated look on his face, with a crafty smirk Illay called him curiously, "Kitty, where's your mind wandering off to?"
His hefty voice helped Noah to shove away his thoughts and unknowingly he moved a step back from him to avoid his touch. He shook his head in denial and answered in a baffled voice, "I am not nervous or anything, Your grace. It's just that the weather feels a little hot, perhaps that's why I am sweating a lot."
However, Illay's keen gaze didn't fail to catch that Noah cryptically tried to avoid his touch which made the smirk on his face fade a little.
