Aldrin flinched hard when Xanthus emphasized his name in front of everyone, which served as a curt warning. Before he could lift his anxious gaze at him, Xanthus turned his face around, to avert a dark gaze towards the other ministers.
"If anyone dares to mention a single word about what was discussed here today before any other royal member, the very next day, his head will be hung on the flagpole outside the castle gate. And consider it as my last warning."
Xanthus proclaimed his menacing threat while leading his gaze back upon Aldrin. A small scornful smirk curved his lips when he addressed him, "Especially you, Prime Minister Aldrin, engrave my words in your mind. Your head won't serve as a good display on the flagpole, neither I wish to behead such a capable minister of our royalty."
That kind of sarcastic taunt winced other ministers but it led to a dark expression falling upon Aldrin's face.
