Noah's curt question led to a contemplated expression on Kirin's face as he paused for a while. Trying his best to hide the truth with a forged smile, he only tapped his shoulder and tried to avert the topic elsewhere, "It doesn't matter anymore, Sheoran. We will be getting out of this place very soon, so…let's leave all bad memories behind here."
"But…your face is all messed up!" Noah still sounded anxious while monitoring his face but somehow he could feel that Kirin was trying to hide something with his nervous smile. Frowning his brows, he declaimed, "Kirin, why aren't you telling me who did this to you? What happened?"
'Telling him about that sadistic bastard would only make Sheoran worry for me more. I don't want to cause him any more concern, not until we get out of this freaking castle!'
