Hearing Noah's nervous, raspy murmur, Xanthus frowned his brows, while holding a look of discontent in his golden eyes. His face quickly changed its expression and grew sour.
Slightly twitching his jaws, his tone sounded grumpy, "Is that so?"
Noah, still shivering from nervousness, gave a slight nod at his question, leaning his face down. Hearing the depth of his solemn voice, he understood that Xanthus wasn't pleased to hear that, but he could no longer hide those palpitations growing inside him.
