Xanthus had been always cruel, and he was aware of his barbaric temperament yet still, a dim hope had dwindled in him when he opened his heart to him, that maybe by staying with him, his kindness would bring some positive change in Xanthus.
Yet watching him talk about the innocent servant families living there as if they were really some insignificant beings, anger and sorrow gushed inside his heart.
