"So, Minister Aldrin you are saying both Xanthus and Illay won't come here to eat with us?"
While cutting a small slice of meat with his knife, King Valerie asked in a dubious tone, keeping a stern look on his face. Seated next to him in the dining hall, Queen Lorelia was tossing the food with her fork as a frown was evident on her slender brows.
After keeping a brief silence, she lifted her head up to look at Aldrin who was standing in front of them with his gaze fixated on the ground, and asked, "But why Prince Illay won't come here? Where is he?"
"Your Highness," Aldrin cleared his throat before he cordially mumbled, "I heard it from Commander Maximus's men that Prince Illay has some certain personal business, so he had to skip the meal here today. And, regarding Prince Xanthus—"
"I didn't ask you about him." Lorelia coldly snarled, rolling her brown eyes with a fierce glare in them. "I don't care what that brat eats or not…I am only concerned about my own son."
