Xanthus's POV:
"Xanthus?"
A soft, familiar voice called me all of a sudden when I felt the warm sun rays falling over my face being blocked by a small shadow. Lying under the giant plum blossom tree in that beautiful garden, I blinked open my eyes and rubbed them hard, as I was feeling unusually drowsy.
When I tried to look up, a pleasant smile sliced my lips as I saw his innocent pouty face, gazing above me.
"How long are you planning to sleep, huh?" His cute oval face appeared a bit irked when he complained to me.
Even though we both were small kids, but sometimes he would often try to scold me and act like an adult, which seemed a bit childish yet it was one of the reasons I adored him.
"Let me sleep for some more time." I tossed another wide smile before I was about to close my eyes back again.
