"Brat?"
A soft, concerned voice flinched both Noah and Kirin, interrupting their conversation in the middle. When they turned around, Noah saw that old lady standing near them and her deep gaze was fixated only on him.
Moreover, her small face looked quite haggard and weary with big eyebags puffed below her eyes that indicated probably she couldn't sleep overnight.
"Madam?" His ocean eyes lit up with a pleasant smile the moment Noah saw the old lady and rushed close to her. Moreover, watching him toss such a wide smile made Kirin curious about that old lady as he continued gawking at her.
Just watching him come towards her, unknowingly she was moved to tears. She bit her lower lip and tried to suppress her tears inside, whereas Noah pulled her into a warm hug.
