"Wait…what?" His unexpected threat made Noah awestruck and frozen for a few seconds. Unable to avert his gaze away from his golden pair of eyes which looked ardently scary, he gulped, stuttering in a choked voice, "B-But why? Why my head—"
"One." Before letting him finish his sentence, Xanthus began his counting as he narrowed his cold glare upon him. He raised his sword up in the air and walked a step near, heftily stepping his boot.
"B-But M-My Lord, h-how am I supposed to raise my sword at you? T-This is a sin, I-I can't do that…W-Why are you doing this to me…" Almost reaching the verge of tears, Noah sounded immensely terrified at the turnover of the situation. Moreover, his frozen body couldn't move backward anymore.
"Two." Without bothering any attention to his whimper, Xanthus clenched the grip of his sword tighter as he reached another step near him. This time, his vague gaze fixated on him and looked even scarier than before.
