Watching him suddenly grow silent, Xanthus exhaled another heavy sigh and darted a glance at his hand which was still holding the sword. His curve of a smile grew mysterious as he further commented, "As expected from an assassin, you look nice while holding a sword."
"H-Huh?"
"Also, since I have chosen you myself, from now on, you must train with me in order to learn to use the weapons as you should. Remember what I told you, if you have something you want to protect, give up on being a weakling." His eyes flashed a mysterious gaze at him when Xanthus calmly uttered his declamation.
"T-Training…with you?" Baffled at his unexpected suggestion, Noah couldn't help but clench his hold tight on the metal grip of the sword. Keeping his gaze glued on him while standing closer, his breath almost hitched as he asked, "M-My Lord, what are you saying? H-How can you train someone like me…And, fighting against you would be sinful for me—"
