(Leo gotta fool all the others including Adel (but not Nagisa) that he has no connection with Gaap prior to that, so he took the whip from Adel and interrogate Gaap himself. He whipped him SM style until Gaap 'yielded' and then boy got close to him to hear his confession (though actually Gaap just teased him "That was amazing, Master.")
