O-Oh...? So... it was not that I should be meeting them as a way to fulfill some kind of symbolic duty, but it was them deities that want to meet us themselves?
"I-I see... That's nice..." Should that be reassuring? Somehow, I felt even more uneasy, thinking that such mighty beings really want to meet us humans, I mean... The Holy War broke out, and they didn't even care enough to descend to the Human realm to help us, it was their war and they left us to fend for ourselves with a bit of helping hand...
To be honest, this Pledge of Allegiance to the deity thingy really made me feel like I was about to make a vow that I'd work as their servant until the day I fell in the battlefield, for real.
Yet... there was no other choice for me, wasn't it?
