Kate knew that it was really difficult to accept.
She turned back into a child in front of her parents and her mother hugged her, crying once again. She said with distressed tone that she felt the cat was familiar, but she couldn't pinpoint why.
Whenever the cat was coming to see her, Kate's Mother would like her very much. In the past, no matter how much she liked a cat, she had never felt strongly like this, which was why she felt that it was quite odd.
Now seeing that the cat was actually her daughter, Kate's Mother was even more distressed. She felt so bad that her daughter had to turn into a cat in this kind of situation.
