"People are afraid of the unknown and the power of the reverse healers are simply putting their lives on the thin line." Kyle caressed Kate's hair slowly. "They couldn't accept it and didn't want them to be powerful."
"I know." Marc looked away. "I don't regret following you and beat up those heartless people."
"Do you have anyone who could be used to target you?" Kyle asked.
Marc is an orphan from the investigation he had. It was only because of his excellent academic that he was accepted in the university without having to pay anything while the other orphans would never be able to reach as far as him.
"There shouldn't be." Marc shrugged. "I don't have many real friends."
He's poor and just an orphan.
For many people in that academy who were not as good as him, he was their target of bullying. Because he had much better result than them, they felt that he was blocking their way and wanted to eliminate him.
