Chapter 16 - Change

The Chihuahua triggered Jing Yan's innate hatred for small animals.

He scuttled behind He Miao and bared his teeth at the Chihuahua in disgust, threatening it not to come near him.

He Miao patted his head lightly. "Onion, didn't you want to play with me just now? Why are you ignoring me now?"

She carried Onion on her lap. The movement of Onion was too wild, and its back was scratched by branches on both sides. Some pustules had already burst.

"Maybe he's scared by my dog. Are you okay?" The man moved closer and looked at the dog's injury carefully. His head was lowered, and his eyelashes were long and thick.

Jing Yan raised his eyes and gave him a cold look, then lowered his head again and obediently lay on He Miao's arm.
