In the Pope's Hall in Nether Bark Kingdom.
The new Pope, Floyd, looked at the kobold before him.
It was a kobold in a black cloak and shrouded in shadows.
"The God of Shadowraze and Hidden Murder—Algernon."
"How long has it been since I last saw you?" Floyd looked at the kobold and sighed.
"More than 50 years." Algernon said calmly.
Floyd nodded.
"I have a quest for you." It said.
"Quest? Is it the moment of life and death for your Nether Bark Kingdom?"
"Floyd, don't forget."
"The God Lord sent me here because a Holy Son was born here a hundred years ago. The God Lord sent me here to help you when you encounter a life and death crisis."
"This is a reward from the God Lord. It shouldn't be reduced to a tool for your political struggle."
Algernon said calmly, having long heard about the battle between the new and old Pope.
