The Veritas Kingdom still relied on imports from other kingdoms regarding food and clothing. Especially food such as farming foods like grains and fresh fruits took a lot of work to grow in Veritas' rock-strewn land.
Therefore, before winter, many merchants from outside the kingdom came to deliver food and clothing supplies to Veritas.
"Be suspicious of merchants who have never come to Veritas before." Ruby assumed, "They might just be pretending to be merchants in order to infiltrate Veritas."
Liviana told Matthew, "Give me the list of merchants who always bring goods to Veritas. I no longer have a job here, so let me check the list."
Matthew nodded. "Alright, I'll give it to you as soon as Sir Alger sends it here."
Liviana then stood up from her chair. "If there's nothing else to discuss, I'll rest first today."
