Matthew has lived for over a thousand years and traveled to various kingdoms in the world. He had done many jobs and had many identities before coming to Veritas. Sometimes he was a wanderer, and sometimes he was able to hold titles of nobility from other kingdoms.
In that period of a thousand years, he accumulated his wealth and let the coffers of the money pile up to become a hill. Matthew then kept his wealth separate into several different kingdoms or empires.
"I don't know if you are that rich." Ruby covered her mouth due to feeling shocked. "Did you also hide your wealth in Veritas?"
Matthew chuckled. "Yeah, I separated it from the kingdom treasury and kept it in a safer place."
Ruby no longer said anything as her mind was busy calculating the amount of money Matthew could accumulate during his lifetime. However, she gave up thinking about it because she could not count all the numbers in her tiny head.
