The ship had sailed for three days without an obstacle, and they hadn't even encountered a storm. Ruby had thought that maybe they could enter the Hali Ocean easily, but that thought disappeared on the fourth day.
"Hurry, roll up the sails, and watch the road ahead! Don't let our ship hit the rocks!" Holden shouted on deck, ordering his soldiers to protect the ship from the storm.
The night sky, accompanied by black clouds, made the ocean swallowed by darkness. Other than the lights on the ship, there was no other source of light on the sea, so the soldiers had to fire the fire cannons so they could see the path ahead of the ship.
Lightning thundered relentlessly, bringing with it heavy rain and strong winds. The storm made the ocean waves seem to be on a rampage; it hit the ship constantly until Xylon had to cloak the ship with a magic shield so that the waves could not damage it.
