Dena tried to knock on Matius's door as hard as possible; she didn't even care about manners or was afraid of Matius.
The only thing on Dena's mind at that time was finding a way to save her queen.
Dena has only been Ruby's maid for less than two months. However, Ruby's attitude, who was always kind to her and considered Dena as a friend, made her afraid that she would lose Ruby.
On the other hand, Matius was standing at the door. Matius clasped his hands in front of his chest; he didn't seem to care about Dena's desperate pleas.

"Did you hear that, Matthew? Your wife is dying." Matius laughed of loud. "Are you going to beg me to help your wife?"
Matthew did not provide an answer to his question. He remained silent, like a rock being hit by a sea wave.
