Silver stood outside the door of Rubisha's condo, with a bouquet of pink roses in his hand. He had no clue which flowers she liked so he went with the safest choice thinking all women loved roses.
Earlier he had taken permission from Aldridge to take a few days off because this had been overdue and he couldn't let it delay any longer.
Before he could knock, the door was yanked open and a fuming Rubisha stood there wearing a pink night suit. Her hand held the door while the other was on her hip. The scowl on her face deepened seeing his lopsided grin.
"Why are you here?" she demanded, her eyes taking in his masculine beauty and she wondered why he was so perfectly built. Her heartbeat had elevated and heat began to seep into her cheeks. His clean woodsy scent was hitting her in abundance making her knees buckle.
