Anna flinched a little at Albert's chilly tone and scary glares. On a normal day, she wouldn't have dared to cough out something like that to him. She knew he would have seriously dealt with her.
However, staring at his current state, she toughened up and faced him squarely. She was unafraid of him anymore, especially now that he was incapacitated. She knew he couldn't hurt her in his weakened state.
"Don't you dare give me that look, Albert? Otherwise, I'll leave here and you never see me again," Anna threatened.
A nurse came into the ward to check what was happening. She was furious to see that Albert's family were causing him stress. So she nicely asked them to leave. But the way Albert and his family suddenly turned on her made her reconsider her unwelcome intrusion.
Hence, the nurse was forced to leave the room with strict instructions from Albert.
