Alter appeared out of a Dark Portal as he reverted back to his physical form. He knelt and was coughing so badly while spewing blood all over the place.
"Curse this. Why is he there? I was this close to gaining the power of Celeste and that stupid Slime Monarch. Tsk." Alter was planning to kill Seth earlier and use a sub-skill of Dark Hollow to turn Seth into a pure form of energy, just like what he did to his body earlier to escape. Once he killed Seth, it would've triggered the revival of Celeteste since he only needed a few more pure souls to awaken him. And using the Holy Grade Relics, he would've immobilized him as he extracts Celeste's power from his body.
Sadly for him, his plan failed. He was forced to retreat back. He had a Dark Portal set up on hand, ready to use in the DC organization to retreat to.
