"I won't let you be here anymore if you can't control yourself, okay?" I whispered sternly toward my two little companions, wondering if I should have just left them back home.
Ignis grunted, but quickly defused the flame dancing on its head. I could hear Izzi whine at the loss of sudden warmth, however, which made me sigh as I looked at Jade.
Jade was harder to appease, but I sent the bird my happiest thought, and the tensing bird gradually grew calmer.
Now that my companions had been handled, I glanced toward the Judge's podium, and saw Natha was closing his eyes, head leaned back on his seat.
Ah...he was pissed.
Well, of course, he would. I was sure he already heard everything firsthand, but I couldn't imagine him not getting angry as it was being repeated. He made a clear effort to suppress his raging fury, though. The room was cold enough as it was, and Izzi would probably suffer from hypothermia if Natha let out his anger.
