When Irra came back, she stared dumbfoundedly at the little boy I just finished putting clothes in.
"..." she parted her lips for a long time, before realizing she was being impolite and covered her mouth.
"This is Jade," I introduce my little boy who was no longer a little bird.
"This is Jade!"
As usual, Jade introduced himself energetically and proudly. This time, I gave him a red coat with a hood, and Ignis crawled inside the hood to perch above Jade's green hair.
"The...the elemental bird?" Irra asked with a soft gasp.
"Yes!" Jade replied with a jump, feeling happy about going around the city with me in this new form.
Also, I bet Jade was happy at Irra's astonished reaction. The little bird had a penchant for surprising people, after all.
"You're ready?" Natha came from behind and stroked my shoulder.
