When Christopher spotted Kane stepping from the carriage, he was no longer in control of his emotional state. Watching Rose break down and being unable to touch her had sent him into turmoil.
The Lord ran at full speed toward Lord Alexsander and before Kane could understand what was occurring. He and Christopher were falling down on the ground, tussling in the dirt. A cloud of dust blew up around them from the impact of Christopher tackling him.
"What the fuck?" Kane shouted at his brother.
Christopher reared his arm back and punched Kane in the face and didn't stop. He punched him in the side and kidney, making Lord Alexsander curl into a ball on the ground to defend himself from Christopher's onslaught.
Every time he tried to say something, The Lord would wallop him again with his massive fists. The metallic taste of blood invaded his mouth, and he was aching all over from the beating.
