"My heart was so scared for you last night. I'm glad you are okay." Rose expressed. She stroked the side of his face, and Chris leaned his cheek into her palm. He could feel the warmth of her hands brushing against his skin, like a feather lightly grazing over his flesh.
"Sorry, you were frightened, love." The Lord turned his face and placed a tender kiss in the palm of Rose's hand that had been caressing him. He took and held her hand in his, to let her know how cherished she was.
"I have decided that we should leave London for a while, and I would like to speak with you about it. Because of your father's desire for revenge and the appearance of my brothers. I think it would be best if we vanished for a while," He said.
"The last thing we should do is leave. It is unnecessary for us to run and hide. The two of us will show them they can't intimidate us." Rose said confidently.
