Christopher set out to see what was taking the two knights so long to return from the stables. As he neared the horse barn, he could hear their discussion. It concerned what Haydon had said about Rose.
Because of Haydon's unwillingness to divulge what Lord Alexsander told him, he could tell that tension was building between them. The tone of Bryson's voice didn't make Chris feel comfortable, and he knew he would only stop once Haydon yielded.
Christopher felt it was best for everyone in the house to know what Rose was. Their increased awareness of her presence was vital for the safety of everyone. Ultimately, he decided that disclosing the information about her was wise, particularly after this morning's episode.
Bryson and Haydon noticed someone's presence. They saw Lord Thorn as he entered the stable.
"Is everything okay out here, gentlemen? It will get dark soon, and Duncan has your meal ready."
