After a few days of searching the ports for Magnus, Dante's men finally found him. They brought him back to Dragonwood. It had been quite some time since he had been sober. He was drunk and utterly disheveled from spending his days in brothels and bars.
"What on earth is that offensive odor?" Dante asked, waving his hand in front of his nose. As Magnus was dragged through the front door, unconscious.
"It's him, your Grace. We found him wandering about the waterfront in Dover with a couple of hookers. Also, we came across one of Lord Thorn's men following him, but we haven't seen the man again since the storm," said the servant.
"Carrick, have them put Magnus in the guest room and get Dahlia to clean and look after him."
Dante waved them off up the stairs and was about to head for his study when he saw a familiar figure riding up the lawn. It was Duke Greystone.
