"Sit up and drink. I can't have you pass out before we have our fun." Magnus admonished.
After helping her sit up, he changed his mind and withheld the water cup. Magnus seized the opportunity to make a demand of Rose.
"I have a better idea. You will have to earn your cup of water." the intimidating tone in his voice told Rose this would not be good.
Her hands clenched in anger at having to bargain with him and being backed into a corner by the very man she hated. She watched as he placed the cup on the bedside table. He turned to her, and she caught a glimpse of the menacing look in his eyes.
Out of sheer terror, her legs shook and she could smell her own fear as she knew what was coming next. Rose scuttled away backwards, only to be caught and dragged back down to the center of the mattress by Magnus. He covered Rose with his body, trapping her.
