As Rose marched past the group gathered outside they watched in stunned silence, their eyes wide with surprise when she entered the guest suite slamming the door shut, which made them all jump.
Christopher threw Kane a warning look and waved his hand, urging him not to interrupt Rose as he followed her into the bedchamber.
Rose entered the room to find three maids bustling about, packing her belongings and making the bed. She heard one of them calling her name from the bathroom, their voice resonating off the tiles.
"Lady Rose, we have readied a comforting bath for you."
