I am so sorry about the delay in posting. There was a personal matter I had to take care of, and it delayed me significantly. I apologize for the disruption. In the next few days, I may take some time off. It will only be a couple of days. My mind needs a little reset. I have been writing non-stop daily for over a year. I want my readers to know so they don't think I am abandoning them or the book. That is something I would never do.
More than a half hour had passed since Dr. Clayton arrived.
Lord Alexsander paced the hall's upper corridor. Pausing occasionally to see if he could hear anything coming from their bedroom. In no time, the door finally opened, and Evangeline appeared.
"Dr. Clayton is humbly requesting your presence, My Lord."
