"Come now, calm yourself. Take a deep breath. I want to hear the complete story from the beginning. I would like to know what happened. So I can justify why I'm about to kill the man I call a friend." Lord Alexsander was perplexed at Giselle's sudden outburst.
He had never seen her act out over something said about her. She had always disregarded gossip and never let it affect her feelings, but this was different. Whatever Magnus said made Giselle see red. Dante was the only other person he knew who could do that to her.
"Shhh... stop crying and talk to me, Giselle." Kane had dropped his teasing of her. He wanted his wife to realize that he would listen. Giselle needed to know she could always rely on him to be there.
