"Give me a moment," Rose said to Kane as he stopped her from toppling over.
"I didn't get any sleep and overdid it with healing the horse. The doctor warned me to take it easy and rest a lot. I should have listened." Rose leaned against Kane, and they walked back inside Northbrook.
The butler held the door for them.
"Chadwick, could you bring some of Giselle's special tea to the guest suite for Rose? She is unwell and is going to rest for a bit."
Rose laid down on the bed, and Lord Alexsander covered her in a blanket.
"Get some sleep after you drink the blood tea. You will feel better soon. I will be in my study when you wake. You are safe here, Rose, and no one will disturb you. So please get relaxed." Kane left the room and met a junior knight in the main hall.
