Rose pointed out the woman sitting down on the right side of the table near Giselle and Kane.
"Yes, that is Madeline Elaine McGuire. She is charming on the outside but very broken on the inside. The woman is one nasty piece of work. She is known for being a backstabber. Most socialites are frightened of her," said The Lord.
"Evidently, she has been talking to the lady next to her and thinks I am a... 'tramp'; she said it was repulsive for me to be walking around holding your arm if we are not married. Also, chasing a man still in mourning is not good either, according to her words." Rose pursed her lips and was irked at the insinuation.
"Don't worry about her. No one else does. She is an unmarried, unhappy, big-mouthed busy body. Until she learns to hold her tongue and not talk about others, I'm afraid that is how she will stay."
