Sleep eluded Christopher as he tossed about under the covers of his bed. The Lord's head hurt, and his heart ached even more. Thinking about how he had turned his back on Rose. He kept repeating the argument with her in his mind.
Replaying it, again and again, the look on Rose's face as he told her to go home. Walking away to leave her standing alone in the darkness. He lay awake thinking.
