Caspian closed the door behind him and walked to the desk.
"Your majesty, what can this minister do for you?"
Salvatore smiled. He stood up and strode to him. He pinched his chin and asked:
"Is that all that I am to you? Your emperor?"
"It depends on how efficient his majesty is."
Salvatore pulled him into his embrace and Caspian circled his neck.
"I'm extremely efficient, dear wife. Will you kiss your husband?"
Caspian felt his heart pulse out of his chest.
He's married, he and Hades are married. Hades is his husband. This is crazy, everything has been crazy since he entered this universe. He never had the desire to get married, because of his parent's toxic relationship.
But when Salvatore said husband, he felt this rush of excitement and warmth. His tender smile certainly helped. Salvatore's love for him is exactly that. It's sweet, tender, and sometimes fiery. He loves it so much, he loves him so much.
