When Cass finished eating, he said:

Shengmei asked:
"You haven't spoken to him, since dinner last week?"
"No, he wanted to meet, but I didn't feel well. Plus, I had a lot of work."
Yunlian said:
"I know that you care for him, but you don't have to do anything you don't want to."
"I understand, father. He's been patient with me. He texted me every day to check on me. He even said he'll wait until I'm ready, to see him."
Yawen's hand tightened into a fist, but he stayed silent. Just a few months and he'll die.
Yunlian nodded.
"I'll see you tonight for dinner."
Shengmei said:
"Don't forget to eat lunch, you're eating for two now."
"I know, I won't."
Cass hugged a happy Shengmei and Yunlian, then left. Yawen looked at him go. He still can't believe what his life has become. It's like the entire world caters to Cass. It makes no sense.
