“You make it sound like you’re going to eat me,” I said with a small laugh of my own.
“I will…eventually…” the prince replied as his eyes captured mine.
I was only joking but his tone had turned so serious that I wasn’t sure how to react. Surely, the prince wouldn’t literally eat me, right?
But then, he’s supposed to be a wolf. Do werewolves prey on humans like normal wolves in the wild when they hunt?
“I don’t think you should eat me. I’m too skinny and I probably won’t taste good…” I said the first thing that came to my mind.
The prince blue eyes widened in surprise before he threw his head back and laughed so loudly that he attracted the attention of everyone around us. I was so shocked at his reaction for a moment before I turned to quickly apologize to the other people around us for the disturbing loudness of the prince’s laughter.
