“I'm fine. I'm not injured anywhere,” I replied as my mind struggled to process what was going on.
The prince stared at my hand before his gaze moved to meet mine. I could feel his alarm and also his worry as he stared deeply into my eyes. After a moment of silence, the prince let out a sigh before he led me away from the table towards the sofa.
“I told you to take care of yourself, so how can you do something so dangerous?” the prince asked as his brows drew into a frown.
“Something dangerous?” I repeated his words as I struggled to understand.
Was he referring to flower arranging?
“Roses have thorns, Mila. You should stay away from them or else you might end up hurting yourself,” the prince reminded me sternly.
“You're right, I will keep that in mind from now on. I'm sorry that I caused you to worry about me again,” I replied reassuringly.
