Lauren walked past Jasper to see what was happening in the hall. She froze when she saw some people attacking the guests, their eyes were all black, had long nails, and had dark veins popping all over their faces.
"Guess how many human hearts will stop beating today?" Jasper's question echoed in her mind. Rich humans attended the tea party, those from the wealthiest families, and she realized that the people running wild were humans whose hearts got corrupted.
The royal guards who came with Lauren surrounded her.
