His eyes dropped to her lips, stayed there for a moment before traveling down her neck where he could hear her warm blood pulsating, then it dropped to her chest, lingering on her breasts that were pushed together by the bodice of her dress.
Slowly, he lifted his stare, and by the time their gazes met again, Lauren shivered at the raw emotion in his eyes. She saw a mix of bloodlust, vengeful rage, and feral desire that promised her a sweet torture in his arms.
