Lauren groaned in pain when her back hit the rocky ground after she was pushed inside the mirror.
She opened her eyes only to see the dark thunderous sky above her.
She pulled herself up and found herself in the middle of a ruined forest. The tall trees looked dry and didn't have a single leaf. No sun, no flowers, everything was in grayscale. She could sense no life in the place.
She gritted her teeth remembering how Queen Thalia pushed her inside the mirror. She thought the ancient mirrors in the room had little to no power because of their old age. The King didn't even mind them and only treated them as a collection. The wicked queen must have realized this mirror's power so she intentionally asked her in the room of mirrors to execute her wicked plan.
Standing in the middle of nowhere, Lauren scanned her surroundings to see if there was a way out for her, but she found none. There was no mirror, no portals, nothing.
