Queen Thalia was speechless at how Alec demanded her to step out of his way harshly like she was a mere peasant. She was insulted but with those dark crimson eyes staring at her like a devil promising her death, she couldn't bring herself to react and just moved out of the lord's way.
Alec went straight to the bedroom and laid Lauren on the bed. He couldn't hear her heartbeat now and she wasn't breathing anymore.
He muttered a curse and put his palm above her chest where her heart laid. His palm emitted a light of blue flame, applying pressure and warmth to her heart so it would beat again. It was a way to revive a heart that just stopped beating.
When Alec sensed how her heart started to beat again, he pressed his eyes shut for a second before he picked her up and brought her to the bathroom.
