Sylaron could feel herself being crushed between the large jaws of the subterranean dragon. She was acting on instinct alone, saving herself and the human she had chosen to help her hatch after sensing the mana within him.
All she knew was to use her claws and blow fire so that's what she did.
Flames erupted from her mouth and burnt the tough flesh of the larger dragon's mouth. She took large breaths and gave it her all, even if it took everything out of her to do it.
In a desperate attempt, she started slashing at the subterranean dragon's mouth with her claws. Further wounding the skin that she had already burnt.
As intended, the dragon found the small meal to not be worth the trouble and it started regurgitating the dirt and stone it was slowly swallowing while its body sorted through what was edible and what wasn't.
There was an attack in its mouth and outside of its body so its only objective became to escape the situation.
