Bren stood at nearly six feet tall despite being only sixteen. His dirty blonde hair was always worn short and his light brown eyes were often hardened with a look of determination ever since Henry first met him.
Their interactions during the war were few and far between but when the apprentices for the Knights of Chemois were required to go to Hydrogia for some semblance of what a knighthood should look like, that's when Henry started to get to know the boy.
During the monster war, Bren had witnessed his knight, Sir Charles, succumb to the poison in such a drastic way, that he breathed in the dark fumes and that was the last breath he ever took. Bren was knocked out from the poison and didn't realize until he woke up that he was a squire without a knight.
Since Chemois was a knighthood without a commander, it was a rather fitting situation for him to find himself in.
